Every Hydro Flask product is 100% BPA-free.

Our bottles are constructed from uncoated 18/8 stainless steel, so there is no danger of a liner getting scratched and releasing the toxic chemical BPA into your beverage. Consequently, your Hydro Flask bottle can keep hot liquids hot without the leaching chemicals that may occur with plastic bottles and aluminum bottles.

The hazards of BPA have long been suspected, though confirmed only as recently as 2006. It has been shown to contribute to hazardous conditions such as developmental toxicity, carcinogenic effects, heart disease, diabetes, neurotoxicity, and abnormally high levels of certain liver enzymes. It has also been linked to obesity, cancer and possible brain damage. Pretty nasty.
