64 oz Wide Mouth Growler is rated 4.1154 out of 5 by 26.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Keeps it cool and super rugged I have the growler that I use everyday as a water bottle. I'm a farmer and spend plenty of time on tractors as you can imagine. Today I had the misfortune of having my growler fall off the tractor and then being run over and hit by our hay rake. It still works perfect just has a dent. My boss was nervous that he destroyed it but instead he said wow that is one rugged water bottle. Thanks for making a great product.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from keeps water ice cold after 10 hours in the sun bought the 40 oz wide mouth hydroflask for my daughter to take to tennis camp in South Carolina but they were out in the heat drinking water all day so she needed a bigger size. i took the smaller one (which i love) and got her the 64 oz. water stayed icy cold in 99 degree heat from morning to evening. it does get a bit heavy when full so we jerry rigged some jug lug straps (from the 40oz carrying case) to the loop on the lid. this worked ok but I wish there was a 64oz carrying case. with respect to value of the product, her coach saw the bottle and said, "is that a hydroflask? that's so cool, those are the best water bottles... but that flask probably cost as much as my truck!"

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Quality has changed over time I own a Hydro Flask that was purchased over 3 years ago and LOVE it! I've put ice in there before and it keeps my water cold for over 24 hours. There are ice chunks even after 24 hours! I recently dropped my 64 Hydro Flask on the ground and there was a dent in the bottle. After 3 years of daily use, there were enough scratches (and now a dent) that justified me getting a new one. After one week of use, I can say that the quality of the new Hydro Flask is no longer the same as the old one that I love. The ice melts by the end of the day. Just for kicks, I filled both my old and new Hydro Flask with the same amount of ice and water. Placed both in the same spot and at the end of the day, a difference in how cold it keeps my water (and how much ice was left over) is noted.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Well insulated, but leaks beer My hydroflask growler kept ice water ice cold for over 24 hours this summer on multiple occasions. I also just filled it with hot water and took it up to the mountain. I had hot water for hot chocolate at the end of the day. However, when filled with beer the hydroflask growler leaks! I replaced the lid (props to customer service, it was free!) and it still leaks. So a big warning, if you buy the growler with the intent of filling it with carbonated beverages and don't keep it upright, it will leak most of your beverage. Usually on the floor of your car. It is such a bummer, because I love everything else about this product! I will continue to use it for hot/cold beverages, but never again for beer.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Awesome for beer! I've had this bottle for over 2 years and still love it. I can buy beer at any brewery, leave it in the hot car and not have to worry about the beer spoiling. Longest that I have every left it without refrigerating was about 24 hours and the beer was still perfect as if it had been poured straight from the tap. It has also sat for up to a week in my fridge unopened and the result was the same, you would not know that the beer had not been poured that day. This one, plus the 32oz are permeant fixtures in my car (unless I have beer in them) because you never know when a brewery is going to have something amazing on tap that you need to have a growler filled with it.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Just redesign the cap! I bought the 40oz-er a year or two ago love how it keeps water super cold to where steam comes out of the flask on a hot day. However the cap seems to be where quality lacks. Every time i drop or the flask gets knocked over the cap pops off. Recently the flask got knocked off a table saw about a 4' drop and the cap actually cracked and came off (sad day). It would be nice to see a metal cap in future versions but all in all its by far the best thing i have found in keeping things cold/hot for long long long periods of time. Just fix the cap! No more plastic please!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Unfortunantly disappointed! Sorry to report that this container (64oz copper brown) really left me disappointed, I have only had it a few days but this thing hasn't been able to keep ice more than a few hours. Today I filled it half way with ice and the rest with water at 7AM and by 10AM all the ice was gone, and this was in an air conditioned office! I do work mainly outdoors and yesterday was the same story but I was in much warmer temps so I wasn't that critical of it's performance, but today was very disappointing so I decided to write this review, which I rarely do, don't get wrong the water was cold but after reading many reviews and watching many review videos I was expecting a much better performance from this product, hope this was just a rare occurrence with a bad jug and the quality is really not this poor overall especially at this price point.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great product! I've had this growler for 6 months and I have used it for water and beer. A month ago I filled it at my favorite brewery but I wswasn'wasn't able to drink it before I went on vacation. I left it in the fridge for 2 and a half weeks. When I opened it the beer was fresh and fully carbonated just as any time its been filed and drank the same day.

Is it dishwasher safe?

Asked by: angie6204
Hello there, This is a brilliant question! We highly recommend to not place the the Hydro Flask into the dishwasher. There are a few reasons why our product is not dishwasher safe. 1. The intense heating cycle of a dishwasher can potentially affect the insulation of the flask. 2. The dishwasher can also cause discoloration of the powder coating. 3. Placing a Hydro Flask into the dishwasher will void our lifetime warranty. We recommend to hand wash the flask with hot soapy water and air dry completely. Please visit the link below for further information on care for the Hydro Flask. http://www.hydroflask.com/caring-for-your-hydro-flask/ Thank you for your excellent question. Happy Hydrating.

I'm looking for a flask for carbonated water. I understand the growler is supposed to keep water carbonated for at least a few hours. Will your smaller water bottles will as well?

Asked by: Emma
Yes!  I keep carbonated water in mine all of the time (my go-to beverage is sparkling H2o with a shot of flavoring in it, over ice,) and even with some dilution (as ice eventually melts over the next day or so here in HI,) I still have mild carbonation the second day AFTER refreshing with more ice! (within the first 10-12 hours it does not seem to loose carbonation much, even with the flip top lid, which I keep closed, when not taking a swig.)  AND So my question to anyone who knows is--what's special/better/improved for carbonation about the growler?

I'm torn between purchasing the classic stainless steel 64 oz Growler or the Butte Black with a matching pint glass. I was wondering if the stainless sweats on the outside more than the black? I have found that smooth surfaces tend to sweat more easily.

Asked by: wpbattle
You can rest assured that all of our flasks have the same insulation property. The stainless steel will stay insulated like the powder-coated.

Is the logo printed on both sides? I'm looking to get an item and have it engraved but am curious if there is room for it.

Asked by: Jason916
Hello. The logo is imprinted on one side of the flask allowing room for customization on the other side.

Can I boil water in the bottle during a survival situation or would that compromise the aluminum?

Asked by: flstick137
All Hydro Flasks are made of stainless steel. We do not recommend placing the flask directly on a stove or fire in order to heat the contents. This will damage the flask. Instead, boil the water in a pot and pour it into the flask to keep it warm.

Asked by: CarrieLV
Mine does if left in direct sunlight. But the beverage inside was still cold.
