Chemical industry calls for tougher regulation
Chemical makers said Thursday that the public has lost trust in the government’s ability to regulate toxic chemicals and called for federal oversight to be improved.
“The public has no confidence in government regulation,” said Mark Rohr, chairman of Albemarle Corp., who serves on the board of the American Chemistry Council. “It is in everyone’s interest to strengthen the law.” To read what Meg Kissinger of the Journal Sentinel found, click HERE.
Save The Whale Again! Full Scale Whaling About To Start

Just when we thought the world had finally grown wiser, we see this headline “Save the whale (again): Secret plan to lift hunting ban”. The world is going insane. First the economic melt down and now a complete mental meltdown.
Twenty years ago, commercial whaling was outlawed. But hush-hush meetings between officials have paved the way for its return. Governments are preparing to breach the worldwide whaling ban, legitimising commercial killing of the giant creatures for the first time in more than 20 years. Starting on June first, a new American law known as the Western Hemisphere Travel Initiative (WHTI) will require U.S. citizens 16 yrs old and over who re-enter the United States by land or sea to have a passport or another appropriate document like a NEXUS card. All U.S. citizens will need to carry with them their passports to and from Canada and Mexico.
If you are going to be Hydrating south of the border, you may want to renew now before the mad dash!
