  1. 1. Torso Measurement

    • A. Bring your chin to your chest and feel for the most prominent bony bump where the slope of your shoulders meets the back of your neck. This is your C7 vertebra, and the top of your torso measurement.

    • B. On each side of your body, feel for the top of your hip bones, just below the sides of your ribs. With fingers pointing forward and thumbs pointing backward, draw an imaginary line between your thumbs. This is the bottom of your torso measurement.

    • C. Stand up straight and have a friend with flexible measuring tape measure the distance between your C7 vertebra and the imaginary line between your thumbs. That’s your torso measurement. If you are between pack sizes, go with the smaller size.

  2. 2. Hip Measurement

    While your torso measurement is the best indicator of your pack size, it’s still important to check your hip size when using a hipbelt. To find your hip measurement, wrap a flexible tape measure around the top of your hip bones, just below the sides of your ribs. This measurement is slightly higher than your waistline

Its the best size ever and I just love the feel of a traditional coffee mug....BUT! it doesn't fit in my neat-freak of a husband's car cupholder. So I got this to replace it. I love how easy it is to take the lid apart to clean and that there isn't tons of tight spots you have to get into to clean. Also love that it can be sealed closed. My toddler grabbed my other one off a counter once and spilled hot coffee on herself (poor baby) but this one is way less likely to spill and the lid needs to be twisted off.

My 15 month old nephew threw my lid to my 16oz Hydro Flask away or has filed it in toddler land. Is it possible to purchase another lid?

If I use the standard insulated wide mouth lid (the solid cap with no opening for sipping) on the 16 oz Coffee HydroFlask, will it seal well enough to keep a carbonated drink, such as beer, from going flat?

Does this mug fit in standard cup holders in cars for travel?

Typically, our 24oz flasks and smaller fit in most car cup holders. We recommend measuring the diameter of the cup holder and comparing that measurement with the dimensions of our flasks (located on the FAQ page on our website).

A Flex Boot is not required, however we do recommend them to provide extra protection from small bumps and dings. A small boot will fit the 16 ounce flask.
