  1. 1. Torso Measurement

    • A. Bring your chin to your chest and feel for the most prominent bony bump where the slope of your shoulders meets the back of your neck. This is your C7 vertebra, and the top of your torso measurement.

    • B. On each side of your body, feel for the top of your hip bones, just below the sides of your ribs. With fingers pointing forward and thumbs pointing backward, draw an imaginary line between your thumbs. This is the bottom of your torso measurement.

    • C. Stand up straight and have a friend with flexible measuring tape measure the distance between your C7 vertebra and the imaginary line between your thumbs. That’s your torso measurement. If you are between pack sizes, go with the smaller size.

  2. 2. Hip Measurement

    While your torso measurement is the best indicator of your pack size, it’s still important to check your hip size when using a hipbelt. To find your hip measurement, wrap a flexible tape measure around the top of your hip bones, just below the sides of your ribs. This measurement is slightly higher than your waistline

The size is perfect for smaller cup holders in cars, and stays airtight and doesn’t leak at all. I’ve also dropped it a bunch and doesn’t show any signs of wear at all. There also is no metallic taste at all. Great upgrade from a plastic or cheaper metal bottle!

The dimensions of the Hydro Flask are accurate on the website and that’s how I was able to tell if it would fit in my purse. The Hydro Flask has not leaked or formed any condensation on the outside of the bottle. It’s easy to wash with the recommended bottle brush that I purchased on their website. The brush and flask are beautifully made. I love that the inside of the flask is stainless steal and not plastic. The water does make my purse heavier, but that’s because of the weight of the water. The Hydro Flask is light. I am so happy that I can avoid drinking out of plastic. I use my own filtered water. I purchased the flask from the Hydro Flask website. It came quickly and in perfect condition. Yes I would recommend the flask and brush to a friend. Worth every penny!

The 18 ounce Standard Mouth Hydro Flask bottle comes with a flex cap. You may purchase a straw cap separately for the Standard Mouth bottle.

Yes, milk shakes should be fine! We would just suggest taking extra care with cleaning after putting anything besides water in the flask.
