Does Hydro Flask use lead for sealing its bottles and tumblers?

No. Over a decade ago, Hydro Flask pioneered an alternative sealing process for vacuum insulated bottles. In 2012, we moved away from what was at that the time the industry standard vacuum sealing process and toward an innovative process that sealed our bottles without the use of lead. 

Even though this new process was more complex – and more expensive – we chose this path because we aimed for a higher standard knowing lead could be harmful to consumers, manufacturing partners and the environment.

Is my Hydro Flask bottle dishwasher safe?

All Hydro Flask powder-coated bottles are dishwasher safe. Hydro Flask Coffee Mugs are not powder coated, and they are not dishwasher safe.

How should I clean my Hydro Flask bottle?

We recommend warm soapy water and a Hydro Flask bottle brush.
All Hydro Flask powder-coated bottles are dishwasher safe. If you prefer handwashing, we recommend warm soapy water and a Hydro Flask Bottle Brush and our Straw and Lid Cleaning Set.

How should I clean my Hydro Flask bottle caps and lids?

All Hydro Flask caps and lids are top rack dishwasher safe. If you prefer handwashing, we recommend warm soapy water and a Hydro Flask Straw and Lid Cleaning Set.

What methods of payment does Hydro Flask accept?

We accept Visa and MasterCard.

Why does my credit card or debit card show two charges?

Sometimes credit card statements contain two transactions, but this is only temporary. When a purchase is made, an authorisation charge is placed on credit cards that temporarily holds funds on an account. This is not actually a charge on your card. Once the order has been shipped, this authorisation becomes an approval and charges your account. The authorisation is released at a maximum of 72 hours from the time of order.

The address I typed is correct, but the website is not accepting it. What should I do?

Does the address you typed match the address on file with the credit card company? If you still encounter a problem after you’ve verified that the address matches, please call our Customer Service on 0207 660 6937 for further assistance.

Why does my Hydro Flask not have a registered trademark symbol?

Newly produced Hydro Flasks do not feature a registered trademark symbol next to our logo. This decision was made to enhance the presentation of the logo on our bottles. The absence or presence of a Hydro Flask registered trademark or R symbol next to our logo is not an indicator of authenticity.

What do I do if my promotion code doesn’t work?

Verify that you entered the promotion code number exactly as shown, without spaces. Additionally, verify that the date when you are using the promotion code falls into the applicable date range. Once these are confirmed, if the problem persists, please contact our Customer Service on 0207 660 6937.

Shipping and Handling


How long will my order take to arrive (including processing and shipping)?

Depending on the shipping method selected, processing and shipping times vary. Orders are processed and shipped during business hours only, so please note that the below estimates do not include nights, weekends or holidays.

Standard delivery

Orders placed before 1PM GMT will be processed same day and arrive within three to five business days if you chose standard delivery as the shipping method. Orders placed after 1PM GMT will be processed and shipped the next day.

Next-day delivery

Orders placed before 1PM GMT will be processed on the same day and arrive on the next day if you chose next-day delivery as the shipping method. Orders placed after 1PM GMT will be processed and shipped the next day. Please note that this is applicable to next-day delivery orders made from Monday to Saturday. Next-day delivery orders made on Friday will be shipped on Monday and delivered on Tuesday.

How is the shipping cost determined?

Free standard delivery

Orders of £35+ will receive free standard shipping.

Standard delivery

Otherwise, your shipping cost will be £3.95.

Next-day delivery

You have the option to upgrade your shipping to next-day delivery for £16.90.

How do I track my order?

As soon as your order ships, we’ll send you an email with the shipping and tracking information. Using the tracking number(s) provided, you can track your order by visiting the GLS or DHL website to follow your new Hydro Flask on its journey from our warehouse to your destination. If you still have questions, feel free to contact us.

Can I ship to international addresses?

Orders made on the Hydro Flask UK Website can only be shipped into the UK.

Can I ship my order to someone else or a different address?

Yes. Orders can be shipped to a different address other than the billing address. During the order process, you will be asked first for a billing address, then you will be given an option to “Ship to this address” or “Ship to a different address.” At that point, you can enter a different shipping address.



As a consumer, you have a right to cancel a Contract concluded through this Site within 14 days.
The cancellation period in respect of product(s) ordered by you will expire after 14 days from the day on which you acquire (or a third party other than the carrier who you have notified to us acquires) physical possession of the product(s). To meet the cancellation deadline, it is sufficient for you to send your communication notifying us of your exercise of your cancellation rights before the cancellation period expires.
To exercise the right to cancel, you must inform us of your decision to cancel the relevant Contract by a clear statement (e.g. by letter sent by post or email). You can do this by contacting our customer service team.


If you exercise your right to cancel, you will need to return your product(s) to us.  Please contact our customer service team, and package the goods in their original packaging with any product tags intact. Secure the package, affix the return label to it (a printed return label is included with the parcel) and take the package to the nearest DHL collection point.  Please ensure that you obtain and retain proof of posting.


If you cancel an order, we will reimburse to you all payments received from you, including the costs of standard delivery.  We do not refund express delivery charges.
We will reimburse you without undue delay and in any event within 14 days after the day we have received the product(s) back from you or, if earlier, 14 days after the day you provide us with evidence that you have returned the products to us.
We will make the reimbursement using the same means of payment as you used for the initial transaction, unless you have agreed otherwise.
