What Next:
Once back in our facility, we will begin the recycling process. Now, enjoy your new Hydro Flask, knowing you’ve done your bit for the planet this week. We’ll take it from here, separating and recycling as much of each item as possible. The outdoors is our everything, and we intend to keep it that way.

Did you know stainless steel bottles aren’t recyclable by most curbside recycling programs?
This means they end up being sorted into the trash, headed to a landfill.
FAQ’s
Can I send in bottles or items that are not Hydro Flask?
At this time we are only able to accept stainless steel Hydro Flask products. This includes bottles, tumblers, mugs, food jars, bowls and plates.
Can I send in Hydro Flask bags, totes and coolers?
In our first phase of the Hydro Flask Trade-In program we can only take our stainless steel items such as hydration, drinkware and Outdoor Kitchen items.
How much do I get per product I trade in?
As a thank you for keeping items out of the landfill, we’ll award you 100 loyalty points ($5 value) to mix and match with your other rewards. You will receive your points in the email you provide upon Trade-In registration.
What happens once my items get back to you?
Your items will be processed and your reward will arrive in your email. The product is then sorted and recycled.
What if I’m a Pro Deal member?
We encourage Pros to trade in. Since Pros are not eligible for loyalty rewards, you will receive your $5 credit in the form of a promo code. Please note: You may only use one code per order. Recycle three items? Have three codes? Use them on three different orders.
Your products have a lifetime guarantee. Why would I need to or want to trade it in?
Need to free up some space? Maybe you have an item you rarely use, or one that has seen better days. We’ll take it from there, and you can pick out a new product that perfectly fits your lifestyle.
Does Hydro Flask sell pre-loved or used gear?
Not yet, but we have big dreams and small storage closets. As we process and assess the items that start to come in, we’ll be able to think about next steps in this program. Stay tuned.
What if I follow all the steps, but my product never gets to you?
Our prepaid labels are trackable. If you haven’t received your code in two weeks, reach out and we’ll track down where it went off trail.
What about the caps, lids and bottle boots?
You don’t need to send them in, but it’s okay if you do. We suggest you keep them, as they’re reusable on other Hydro Flask gear, but if you don’t, we’ve got the tools and tech to recycle them.
What if I have more than one item to trade in?
Pack multiple items in a box or mailing bag and affix the shipping label to the package.
What if there are stickers on my bottle?
No problem. This won’t affect the recycling process.
Can I ship from anywhere?
At this time Trade-In shipping is only available in the contiguous 48 states.
How soon do I have to get this to you?
You have 30 days to package your item, add the printed label & drop it at your nearest shipping location. The shipping label will expire after 30 days from receipt.
