Perfect Cooler Bag
We bought this as a beach/overnight camping bag and it's been awesome. The build is very sturdy, the design is fun and stylish and it keeps stuff really cool. The straps are comfortable for long walks or hikes with it and the compartmentalization is perfect. You can keep a solid amount of stuff up top above the cooler.

Very happy with my purchase
I bought this during memorial day, so it was on sale :) I've taken it camping to the river and out when I went golfing and I loved it. I would recommend it to anyone that hates warm beer haha. It's very comfortable to carry and I like the small pocket on the side. The compartment on the top is handy for anything you don't want getting cold or wet.If a few years down the road I need to purchase another cooler pack, I would totally get this one again.

Awesome Soft Cooler - Great Portability
Very pleased with this cooler. Initially we had buyers remorse because it was so expensive and we worried 'when are we going to use this?' But we've had this for over a year now and have used it a lot. It's great for biking to the beach or walking to the park, and if you fill it with ice it'll stay cold all day. It's been on two long camping/road trips as our secondary cooler for drinks. We didn't have ice for one of the trips, so we filled it with cold well water and dropped our drinks in - they were cold within the hour! Love that the lining is waterproof so that you can do just that. Also love the small pockets all over - very handy. They even included a chest strap to increase stability when carrying heavier loads - definitely no complaints.

Comfortable to carry and stays cold
We love this pack. It's super-comfortable to use on hikes and at the beach. Kept everything cold through a day of 98 degree heat. Definitely recommend.

Great bag!
I love this bag!! It’s better than a single shoulder strap and fits nicely. The only thing I wish they had added was a large enough pocket on the side to accommodate an actual Hydroflask water bottle.

This cooler is great for any occasion. I went to the beach and I had put frozen bottles of water in the cooler and I took one out and it was still frozen. I love that it’s a backpack cooler because it makes it very easy to tote around. I would highly recommend this product.

Exactly what we needed
I bought this for our trips to the beach in Okinawa Japan. It gets HOT here and having cold drinks, and keeping our food cold is a must. But we also needed portability. This pack is awesome. 5 hours on the beach and we still had cold water at the end. This is not a replacement for a hard sided cooler from the “other” brand, however I much prefer this for day trips. It is light, very comfortable to carry, and kept our drinks and food ice cold. The zipper was easy to open and close and the extra pockets are so convenient. I can’t recommend enough. Also HUGE shout out to hydroflask customer service, they had a very prompt response to my shipping issue, Tiona was great. Wonderful product better than I expected, another home run for hydroflask! (I love this for taking my kids to the beach by myself highly recommend for parents on solo trips)

Questions
In the video, you show ice in the cooler but on the tag attached to my cooler that was delivered yesterday it is recommended that you only use "ice packs". How will the cooler hold up to actual ice? I expect most people will use real ice vs packs.
Ice packs are recommended just to keep the cooler dryer, however, it will hold up fine with actual ice. Just like any cooler, you have to make sure it's dry before storing it.

Was the performance of a black colored cooler evaluated when selecting the colors? Though I think black looks sharp, I am hesitant to buy the black color because of the tendency of the color black to attract heat. Does this color affect ice performance?
Do any coolers in the Unbound series float if accidentally dropped in water? I'm sure these weren't built to constantly be submerged, but am wondering if this would instantly sink if it went overboard while paddle boarding. Thanks!

Will this cooler full w/24 cans float?
The zipper on my cooler is no longer working-the teeth do not close or in some spots they do but as soon as I poke it the zipper comes undone. Any suggestions or how to fix? We got it through expertvoice so dont think the warranty applies.
