Very Satisfied!
I am very satisfied with my wide mouth straw lid. I originally had the twist off lid and found myself leaving the lid all over the house due to having to screw it off each time I wanted a drink. This lid is much more convenient.

Love it!
I was worried it wouldn’t fit but it’s great for my 40 oz bottle and I didn’t have to cut the straw. The straw stays in place too. My only caveat is that you really have to make sure the lid is on right and tight, but that’s mostly on me to take a few extra seconds, so the whole bottle doesn’t spill everywhere

The lid is exactly what I wanted!
I received the large hydroflask as a gift a while ago but with just a regular lid that I had to keep taking on and off in order to drink; it was messy and inefficient. I work outside with horses much of the day and it was just too much of a hassle to keep taking the lid on and off, so I just really didn't use the flask. But I purchased this lid and I love it. It's extremely convenient and leak proof and I don't even use the straw portion of it bec I hate cleaning the straws. It works great without the straw, you just need to tip up the container to drink.

Ease of use!
I love the straw lid! It makes drinking water while driving safer...if only I could put my 48oz in my cup holder. I wish the standard mouth bottles could have the straw lid as an option. That would make me really happy!!!

You got this right!!
Have been an owner since early days of hydro flask, went through different caps and the inconveniences of having to stop and unscrew or use the less than sanitary spout. I have 3 32 oz bottles, 1 at work, 1 for the gym and another for the car. I was leery about the straw concept at first, well I was wrong it’s streamlined to keep clean and a nice look.

I received the water bottle as a gift, but didn’t like the cap. I went to the website and found this cap that lets you drink right from the bottle. I ordered it and received it in just a few days and just LOVE my water bottle now! I carry it around with me all day and the water and ice stay so amazingly cold and the bottle never sweats. And that is hard to come by in humid Florida in the 90’s! So thanks for the product and great order process!

Wide mouth straw lid
I bought two of these for my wife & my Hydroflask, even after reading the negative reviews. We could not be happier. They work fantastic & do everything we expected. It’s obvious the negative reviews are just not happy no matter what they buy. In highly recommend these for the convenience of using of using the bottle & being able to stay hydrated throughout the day.

Nothing but good experiences with my lid/straw after a year. Highly recommend.
Tip: I didn’t cut straw for my 32oz bottle (I can really get every drop as it curves at the bottom a bit), and now lid/straw also fit my new 40oz bottle.
Just one thing, will you bring back the darker blue version? Wish I ordered more of them

The straw that accompanies the lid are made long enough to fit the 40 oz. If you would like to use them for a smaller flask, they can be cut to fit accordingly.

I bought this lid for my hydro flask, but every time i place my flask on its side all the water starts spilling out from the lid which is so irritating! Is this supposed to happen? Or did I receive a defective lid?

What you are describing sounds if the grey air valve fell out. That is common with the straw lids as it is rubber and can move when it is washed. I purchased a 32 oz wide mouth as well as this lid but the 2 straws that came with the bottle are too long & don’t allow me to screw the top into the bottle, am I doing something wrong or is this an error?

Will Hydro Flask sell replacement air valve grommets? HF’s warranty is excellent, but I find it wasteful to have several replacement lids with no valves (I swap out the valve to replace on colored lid). They pop out too easily during washing.

No, it does not. We don't have straw lid for the standard bottles. However, the sports cap works well. It is a sippy lid that you can pull out.

Are you suppose to cut the straws to size? I ordered two wide mouth lids for my 32oz bottles and they're too long. Also It would be creat if there were a few color options for lids. The black lid doesn't really go well with my shave ice bottle.
